~ To educate the public on animal care and welfare, including the spaying or neutering of animals to control pet populations.

~ To provide temporary foster homes and veterinary care for homeless cats and kittens.

~ To assist senior citizens on fixed incomes with necessary expenses, thereby enabling them to continue to properly care for their animal companions.

SOCS hopes to accomplish these goals by networking with all reliable resources, being actively involved in public animal welfare campaigns, and increasing our Foster Home system.
